Da Da

One year ago today Mason uttered the words Da Da....and now he is saying things like triangle, dump truck and flamingo!!! So here are some pics of Mike and Mason in the sandbox.

My friend Vicki told me that I haven't updated my blog in a while. I wasn't going to post this picture....
Mason squirted me with the water hose when I was taking his sprinkler pictures. I wiped the lens off on Mike's shirt and somehow took this beautiful picture in the process. When I took this picture the thing I was focusing on was Mike's shirt and the water on the lens.....but my lens was focused to the heavens. Just an earthly reminder to focus on what we can see and the Lord will lead us to what we can't see.
It's ok if you don't understand this....Vicki will and that is all that matters.

August....already?!?!?!?

Ok, so it's August and I haven't posted in OVER a month, so that means more pictures!!! About the only thing new with us is Mason is taking an interest in going pee pee in the potty!! He did it 3 times this weekend! We're not rushing him or pushing him, just letting him do it in his own timing!
He is developing into quite the character! He loves to laugh and make you laugh at him. He has a great sense of humor and LOVES to give others big hugs. He comes up to me several times a day to give me big hugs. Makes my heart melt.
Mason is getting quite smart too...yesterday he kept saying "Ah-angle" over and over again. I couldn't figure it out until he brought me a triangle! I have not taught him his shapes yet. Maybe his friend Elmo did? Mason has several books that he adores. We read to him all the time. The other day he was quite upset because Mike and I had no idea what he was telling us...Mingo Mingo Mingo he would shout. We had NO idea what he was talking about. Wouldn't you know it, that little booger went to his bookshelf and brought us a picture of a flamingo! Mind you, I hadn't read out of this book in weeks!! Ahhhhh, what information that little brains soak up! He is also learning more and more sign language words every day!! Enough talking here are some pics.

Time Flys When You're Having Fun!!!

I can't believe it has been a month since I've posted!!! We've been playing and playing and playing. Here are some pics of Mason's new fire truck. He woke me up at 1:30 in the morning the other day wanting to play with it! Before Mike had it all put together he called it his boat!! Boy was he surprised when he walked into the living room the next morning and it morphed into a Fire Truck!!! He immediately grabbed my car keys and tried to "Start" his Fire Truck. I didn't even have time to put pants on him, clean diaper yes, pants no!!!! Hey, who needs pants to dive a fire truck anyway!?!!?
