Missing Dustie already!!

It hasn't even been 24 hours...and I already miss him. Our house was so quiet last nite. Dustie actually hummed instead of meowing. He would meow every once in a while, but he would hum ALL the time! It was the strangest thing for a cat to do....but I think that he was humming because he was happy. Just like I like to hum or sing when I'm happy. He would hum the loudest and longest at night when we would try to sleep. And let me tell you that cat hummed ALL the time.... :o) And I sure hope he's humming a new tune today! Oh, how I miss that sound.

I had a hard time this morning when I drove up in the driveway from running and errand in Tulsa. Dustie was ALWAYS in our front bay window. That was HIS spot to sit and watch birds and lie in the sun ALL day. Dustie....was not there in the window waiting for me to come home....It has been literally YEARS since that window has sat unoccupied....

Still not ready to type up his story, but come back....you won't want to miss the heartwarming story of this amazing cat. But for now, I want to thank those of you that have sent so many warm emails or have posted on here. Thank you. For now, I hope you enjoy a few more photos of our Dustie.

You may have to click on the below picture to enlarge it....if you look closely you will see Dustie in his spot in the bay window. This picture was taken when we first got him.....we didn't even have any landscaping done on our house yet!!

Dustie in his window.....look closely :o)
Dustie LOVED to play in the water!!!
Dustie LOVED it when I wouldn't make the bed!!Typical Dustie...in a box or basket.

What a lovely looking cat!!!! I've been missing my cat (and she's alive) every time I read about your loss. But once at home after I hug her and all the loving routine, she decides to remember me that she loves best to be outside.

Hi Melissa. He sure was an adorable cat! I know how lonely it can be. You don't realize how set in your ways you are until something changes! Thinking of you!

Dustie is just beautiful! I am so sorry for your loss and I can only try to imagine the heartache you must feel when the familiar is no longer there. I trust God to hold you in His loving arms while His Spirit brings you comfort.
Gentle Hugs, Friend!!!
